Dr. VLADIMIR PETROVIĆ

R&D Director

Vladimir graduated with the degree of Master of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 1997 and PhD in the field of Digital Image Processing in 2001 at the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Manchester in the UK. He has established an active academic career at the University of Manchester and at the Signal Processing Group, Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad in Serbia where he heads a research group in the field of medical imaging in a role of Associate Professor. Vladimir gained international research standing with cutting edge work in digital image processing and medical image analysis. Since 2008, Vladimir has served as R&D Director of Visaris where he and his team develop advanced digital x-ray imaging systems and radiology informatics solutions.
